It is running a hospital in Numaligarh (Assam, IN) Refinery Township complex. This 40 bedded well equipped hospital not only caters to the needs of the 4000 members of staff and family of the refinery, but also attends to peoples of 13 surrounding villages.

The Vivekananda Kendra – NRL Hospital which came into existence in the year 1998 with a small OPD is now a full fledged multi- specialty hospital with specialists in almost all disciplines backed by State of the art facilities and trained medical staff.

The hospital has fully equipped Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Surgery, Medicine, Eye, ENT and dental Departments as well as facilities such as 24- hour ambulance service, pharmacy, blood bank, Pathological Lab , X-ray section, Neonatal care ward, burn unit, OT Complex, Ultrasound Section etc. Apart from providing medical care to NRL employees and their families, the VK-NRL creates hope for a cross section of society which has no other recourse to health care.

The healing touch of the hospital has extended beyond its frontiers and touched the underprivileged section of the people of the nearby villages of the Refinery, where it holds mobile medical camps regularly .

Another Hospital VK-BORL has been just inaugurated in BINA, Madhya Pradesh (IN).
