It is the core of all our thoughts behind Vivekananda Kendra.
Swami Vivekananda, with intense love in his heart for motherland undertook wanderings all over India.He came to Kanyakumari and sat on 25th,26th and 27th December 1892 on the mid-sea rock meditating on India's PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE.

Personality Devlopment Camp -Nisik Branchविवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, शाखा नाशिक ने ‘कथा विवेकानंदांच्या’ इस पुस्तक प्रा परीक्षा ली थी। उसमे से चुने हुवे बच्चो के लिये दि.11 डिसेंबर 2011 को एक व्यक्तिमत्व विकास शिबीर लिया गया। इसमे 50 बच्चो ने सहभाग लिया।शिबीर मे ‘भारतीय संस्कृती’ के उपर कु. त्रिलोक भामरे ने मार्गदर्शन दिया।

Vijay Hi Vijay Mahashibir in Odisha A state level leadership development camp named “Vijay hi Vijay” was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Odisha prant in Hi-Tech Medical college campus, Pandara - Bhubaneswar from 20th Dec to 25th Dec 2011. The residential camp participants included 704 graduation and PG level students and 30 prabharis (coordinators, Teachers) representing 25 districts of Odisha alongwith 161 Karyakartas from across the country.

Personality Development Camp at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh IndiaUnder ARISE! AWAKE!! Competition – One Day Camp was organized at Green Mount School by Vivekananda Kendra, Arun Jyoti Itanagar branch. From four schools of the capital 59 students participated in this programme. This camp was basically conducted for the students to develop personality & enlighten their youth power .Programme started with lighting of lamp and prayer followed by introduction, Games, Geet & Yoga. The Session: "Personality Development" was delivered by Shri Kalyan Dutta,(J.E., P.W.D.) Nagar Pramukh in which students were told about the potential of India & the inspiring idols of India like Swamiji. Among participants group discussion were Conducted by Smt.

Mahabhaskara Shastra Vijnan Pradarshani 2011

The Mega event got into action with the arrival of the participants from across the North Eastern VKVs (Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya). After the mammoth procession on the 16th December 2011 conducted with the active participation of various VKVs of NorthEast India in general and with the dominant participation of the VKVs of the Papumpare cluster in particular.

While inaugurating the Mahabhaskara Shastra Vijnan Pradarshini [MBSVP] -2011 (A Northeast level science exhibition of VKVs), Sri. Nabam Tuki, Hon’ble Chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh said that VKVs have done yeomen services to the nation particularly in Northeastern region.

Yoga Shiksha Shibir 2011 DecemberYoga Shikha Shibir was organised from 1-15 December 2011 at Vivekanandapuram, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari. In all 66 participants (Sisters-25, Brothers-41 ) from the states of : Assam, West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamilnadu, Germany, Spain, SriLanka and France were trained in Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnan Yoga and Karma Yoga through Theory sessions and Practicals.
