Under ARISE! AWAKE!! Competition – One Day Camp was organized at Green Mount School by Vivekananda Kendra, Arun Jyoti Itanagar branch. From four schools of the capital 59 students participated in this programme. This camp was basically conducted for the students to develop personality & enlighten their youth power .Programme started with lighting of lamp and prayer followed by introduction, Games, Geet & Yoga. The Session: "Personality Development" was delivered by Shri Kalyan Dutta,(J.E., P.W.D.) Nagar Pramukh in which students were told about the potential of India & the inspiring idols of India like Swamiji. Among participants group discussion were Conducted by Smt.
Apart from our regular Programmes at Hyderabad Branch of Vivekananda Kendra, we have started a series of Yuva Prerna Shivirs for College Students, on 15th Dec. 2011 one such programme was organised at Vivek Vardhini College.
Programme started with lighting the lamp and prayer, it was followed with Introduction by Shri Ravi Sharma followed by Lecture on "Swami Vivekananda's message to the Youth" by Dr. Subramaniyamji, and question -Answer session.
